It’s easy to make
new plants of stonecrop
(Sedum acre)
by taking cuttings of new growth in summer.
Cut stems that have at least two or three healthy leaves. Stick cuttings into a flat filled with a sterile
medium—such as perlite, vermiculite, or potting soil made for succulents—that’s kept slightly moist.
After roots develop, transplant 12 inches apart in a sunny, well-drained garden. ®
